Indivisible Alta-Pasadena has endorsed and prioritized a number of bills that will help California stand up against federal immigration enforcement, reign in corporate greed, expand access to renewable energy and education, and protect our most vulnerable residents. For these bills to move forward in the legislature, they must be passed in their chamber of origin by Friday, May 29, 2026. Our representatives needs to hear that YOU support this legislative agenda.

- SB 942 (Caballero) Requires public health license to operate detention centers
- SB 873 (Reyes) Kicks ICE out of courthouses
- SB 1259 (Blakespear) Would increase transparency by requiring oil refineries to submit decommissioning and remediation plans, including estimated costs. This information provides a starting point to ensure oil companies don't leave communities paying the bill for cleaning up contaminated land.
