Spring greetings to all!
As we move through March, we’re reminded how powerful even small acts of collective action can be. Thank you for taking the time to read our newsletters, continuing to show up, staying informed, and supporting one another.
Adelanto Caravan & Serenade
Members of our group joined a caravan and serenade to Adelanto ICE Detention Center in solidarity with detained individuals and their families. We’re grateful for their presence and witness. Thank you to NDLON and coalition members for organizing this event.

Photos from IAP members that attended the 3/14 Adelanto Caravan and Serenade

In preparation for the caravan to Adelanto ICE Detention Center, IAP member William Kelly published a blog post breaking down the role of GEO Group in private detention and why it matters locally and nationally. We encourage you to read and share!

CASS Priority Bills Announced
The nomination and voting period for Indivisible California State Strong (CASS) coalition has now closed for this legislative year and on April 6th the CASS leadership team will formally introduce this year's Priority Bills. These will help guide our advocacy efforts in the months ahead.
Join Indivisible CA: StateStrong on Monday April 6th at 5:30 pm as the coalition introduces 2026 Priority Bills and reviews the responsibilities of bill leads in the work groups.

Community Rallies Opposing Data Centers
Communities in the San Gabriel Valley have been showing up to oppose the proposed Data Centers in Monterey Park, in an effort to fight against air pollution and diesel generators, energy and water use, noise, and neighborhood impacts. These actions have led to a moratorium on data center construction and ongoing efforts to potentially ban them altogether. It’s been inspiring to see local resistance and advocacy around environmental and community impacts.

Upcoming Events & Actions

Our friends at San Gabriel Foothills Indivisible are organizing a No Kings march to City Hall this Saturday March 28th. This is the third No Kings event they have organized. We will be joining the march and also some of us are volunteering as safety monitors. We’re looking for members to join us as safety monitors. This is a meaningful way to support the event and help ensure a safe, welcoming space for all. Use this sign-up form to volunteer or send us an email and we will connect you directly with the organizers.
Event starts at 11am at Pasadena City College with a march to City Hall. You can also join the rally at 12:30pm at City Hall. Stay in the loop by signing up at the Mobilize link below:

Things & Resources to know about:
1) Guides for Protecting Your Data From ICE When Traveling/Flying
2) News Not Noise Newsletter by former White House Correspondent Jessica Yellin. A great option if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the news cycle. Yellin breaks down major political stories in a clear, calm, and non-sensational way, helping you stay informed without the noise or panic. We highly recommend it!
3) Heather Cox Richardson (newsletter + youtube videos) is a historian who connects current events to broader historical context. Her writing is incredibly grounding - she explains what’s happening and why it matters in a way that feels steady, thoughtful, and accessible.
